With Slow Food course of the Chamber of Commerce concerning the best food of Terra di Lavoro
The ASIPS, Special Agency of Chamber of Commerce of Caserta, in collaboration with the Slow Food-Massico Roccamonfina, Matese and Volturno, opened a course for the "development of professional skills for the promotion and management of food excellence of Terra di Lavoro", in order to oversee and develop the competencies of entrepreneurs, employees and prospective workers intending to work in the industry.
The goal, in essence, is to consolidate and strengthen technical knowledge of small businesses in the food industry for you to be able to read and reproduce in a modern gastronomic heritage of the province of Caserta, with the aim to enhance it as a cultural heritage and help build the ' identity of the province.
skills that will be promoted, based on the principles of "good, clean and fair", are: product marketing in the context of local marketing and new values, communication skills, with the / t / I, the development of sensory skills, techniques and machinery maker narrative history of product quality certification, traceability of products, tools and philosophy of the network "Mother Earth".
The profile is that of a business operator in a position to promote and enhance the taste for discovery of local products, increase awareness of the uniqueness of the product, adapt the organization and productivity of services, responsible for relations with the operators and suppliers, customer relations through educational measures to the taste, develop and implement marketing and promotion plans, check the terms of use of the techniques of supply, processing and storage of products in terms of quality.
In this sense the course aims to assert the food and wine tourism as a form of cultural tourism: to aim the conservation and enhancement of agricultural land and propose a new way to enjoy your holiday, combined with visits to farms with food tasting, a real personal experience that allows you to enter into full communion with the reality of the place to establish a dialectical relationship with its past, to appropriate its traditions and its historical and cultural heritage. The food is the "means" of communication of material culture, traditions, emotions, and creates value in the area.
The course will run for 98 hours with classes being held in the afternoon starting next September 6, 2010. The enrollment is free.
